Nicky Kerr attended Berklee College of Music on scholarship and graduated in 2013 where she received her Bachelor of Music. While in Boston, she majored in Songwriting. Nicky was also awarded the SESAC scholarship for “excellence and great promise in songwriting.” She is honored to have shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Carole King, and Annie Lennox at Agganis Arena. Nicky currently resides in West Lafayette, IN and can be found performing and writing songs on a regular basis.  She is actively involved as Co-President of Songwriters' Association of Mid-North Indiana. Nicky also greatly enjoys mentoring students in the arts of songwriting, piano and vocal performance, and artist development. She recently released her debut album PAPER TOWNS with production credit by guitar virtuoso, Michael Kelsey. She is ecstatic about the new album and the response has been very welcoming. In 2017, she and her co-writer, Molly Brown, won 1st Runner-Up in the country category with their song "Wearing White" in the International Acoustic Music Awards. Kerr is a Judy Stakee songwriting retreat alumni and also coaches the Purdue University Jazz Band vocalists.
